Pablo Picasso
grew up in Spain where he was born in 1881
His father was a painter and Pablo learned to draw from an early age. He attended art school but grew restless as he wanted to create something new.
He began to experiment and created a completely
new style of painting called Cubism.
Cubism is a style of art which
shows all of the possible viewpoints
of a person or an object all at once.
It is called
Cubism
because the items represented in the artsworks look like they are made out of cubes and other geometrical shapes.
